Do you remember where you were when you first saw an image of this balcony with Martin Luther King Jr.’s body sprawled on the cement and his friends all pointing up and out to the left? … so long ago. I do. Heartbroken beyond words and deflated.
I cried my eyes out just before making this image … so hard I couldn’t breathe or speak; but it’s not about me, it’s about never forgetting and using those overwhelmingly sad and helpless feelings for the common good. Let’s ALL hold together and work for a better world!
